The World Alpaca Fleece Show
The World Alpaca Conference will feature an exciting International Fleece Show with entries being shown from around the world. Every country can enter as many fleeces as it wishes using its own selection criteria

There will be a Colour Championship, judged by a team of BAS judges to BAS rules. If you wish to study the BAS Fleece judging manual, use this link.

The colour classes are - White / Beige / Fawn / Brown / Black / Grey
The age groups are - Junior (6 months up to 12 months) / Intermediate (12 months up to 24 months) / Adult (24 months up to 48 months) / Senior (48 months and older)
Fleeces winning first, second and third places in each class will be displayed in The Golden Fleece Room at the conference. The two Supreme Champion winners of The Golden Fleece Awards will be displayed at the entrance to the conference.

THE GOLDEN FLEECE AWARDS

At the Gala Dinner, The Golden Fleece Awards will be presented to the overall winners of the best huacaya and the best suri fleeces in the world! Kilnwood Alpacas has taken THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to sponsor these prestigious awards.
The sponsor will have their name/farm name/breeding prefix engraved on the trophies which will be presented, in their presence, at the Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening, for which they will also receive two tickets. Other benefits are banner advertising in the foyer of Keble College, throughout the conference, an advert in the programme and logo on The Fleece Show cards and the championship sashes.
